I am a multi-instrumentalist and have been composing music as a hobby. Time to time I just play the piano and make the software record the keys I press, then I sometimes use these records in the future and make songs, most of the time they just stay in the tray like this one. Here are some non-commercial draft pieces that I made. All of them are my own compositions, except the cover I made for Flying from Anathema.

ps. I strongly recommend using headphones

I had bought a loop pedal and the chord progression is from the song a close friend of mine wrote. I decided to improvise on it and this is what came out. 2016, Copenhagen

This is what it looks like when you buy a new piano and want to impress your friends and family with an easy-to-play but complicated looking cool song. Hahaha, watch how slow I play (and sell it as an emotional atmosphere) to gain some time to re-position my fingers between notes 😀

While I was living in Bursa, I got involved with these cool people. It was most like a fun gig and here, most probably the only time that one can see me singing. The guy on the right who barely sings and misses beats with the bass is me 😛 2019, Bursa

Working with a video is also interesting, I mean like composing the background music. You often don’t feel it but in reality musician is the guy who pulls the ropes and injects you the needed emotion. Composer can make an empty scene feel dramatic, or a suicide scene to look humorous.

Let me give you an example. Imagine a scene, a mid-age innocent guy is taking a shower and there is this killer, about to pull the curtain and stab his knife. Now play Don’t Stop Me Now from Queen in your head. Suddenly you’re on the killer’s side. Lets take another one. Imagine this one, sunset over the lake, some kids playing at a distance. Slowly rise the volume of the Moonlight Sonata from Beethoven. You just made the audiance to think ‘Oh, what happened to the rest of the family?’ Drama is easy with minors.

Below, its my work playing in the background:

ps. The picture on the left has nothing  to do with any of these, it was my birthday and we decided to get an awkward-cool shot for the night. We took the shot in my studio. The dude holding the bass is me. The vocal is Imren, the coolest kindergarten teacher ever. The guy on the left with the Les Paul guitar is Omer, my closest friend, he knows me more than I do. The guy on the right is Engin, the smartests in my friend circle. The only person that I can throw engineering jokes at. I am putting this frame here, because I can. 2018, Bursa.
